Show your love for LIGHTNING BUG

It's not Tempe, but it's still good.

Just a few words this time to plug the L.A. premiere of LIGHTNING BUG, a new film by Robert Hall. Rob is best know for doing the makeup FX on TV's ANGEL but he decided to write & direct a very touching drama loosely based on his own childhood. Of course, there is a Tempe connection here...Rob's shop was kind enough to create the look for KILLJOY 2 (which Mark Bautista then applied), but Rob is also something of a fan of low-budget horror flicks. In fact, LIGHTNING BUG features clips from THE DEAD NEXT DOOR and SKINNED ALIVE which are prominently featured in scenes where the fledging makeup artist character in the film is watching cheesy horror flicks!

LIGHTNING BUG is being presented as part of The Century Film Festival...get out there and show your love! It's a great flick, and those who know me know that I rarely recommend anything.

Until next time...
