THE DEAD NEXT DOOR screening - Akron Film Festival
In what will hopefully be the last time I have to
watch this flick for a good long while, the Akron Independent Film & Video
Festival will be closing this year's fest with my very first feature film, THE
DEAD NEXT DOOR (remastered version).
For those of you who care, THE DEAD NEXT DOOR was
my first so-called professional effort as writer, director & producer nearly
21 years ago... shot on Super-8mm film, it was nearly 4 years in the making with
the financing of a now-mysterious filmmaker who's spent the last few years
spinning much bigger webs in Hollywood (how's that for a subtle hint?). The
movie celebrated its 20th anniversary last summer with the long-overdue DVD
release courtesy of Anchor Bay.
The
screening starts at 9:30 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2006 and I'm scheduled to
appear for a Q&A either before or after the screening. Check out the full
festival details

If
you're in the Akron, Ohio area, swing by and check it out on the big
screen!
Stay
sick!
